This week we have 2 special guests for you at Synchronize! First off is djaydee (CCC, Space Elevator, Gaia Records, SF). Djaydee (Dirk) has been a DJ, producer and event organizer since the beginnings of modern day electronic trance music and a part of the San Francisco scene for several years. He is making his debut Synchronize appearance this week and he'll be starting the night off with funky progressive, techno and electro sounds that are guaranteed to get you moving. Next up will be resident Gatto Matto, whose humble job it will be to carry you through to our next guest for the evening, Christine (VaporVent, SF). Christine plays a variety of energetic, fun fullon and psychedelic tunes in her sets and does it with style and flavor. She's been rocking decks all around the country and is about to embark on a tour through Mexico, so let's send her off with a bang!

Hi Kids! This is your good ol’ former Synchronaut announcing this week’s line-up. So why am I making this announcement? Well, that’s because this week I get to host Synchronize in place of Gatto Matto; our friend Matt will be gone doing a righteous psy gig in Kyrgyzstan! (yes, there is Psy there!!) So FINALLY,…. Yo Daddy has come back to Synchronize!! Well, just this week but damn, feels like coming home!!!

Without further ado, our guest this week is the fabulous, DJ Goldilox! A community favorite, Goldilox is a true veteran of the decks, having DJ’ed for more than a decade with a solid production portfolio under her belt to boot. Goldilox’ musical journey goes way back to 1990 when she started as an industrial artist who naturally progressed into DJing a full spectrum of dance electronica; you name it -- house, techno, drum and bass -- this gal has done it all! And… I get to kick start the party! One thing I miss most about doing Synchronize is the opening session where I got to experiment and play just about anything I wanted to. So by now y'all know that there's "RAW ENERGY" that's happenning tonight at Sera Phi. But did you know that tonight's party is the last party that will ever be held in this space? Soon after tonight, they plan to demolish the building and turn it into condo's. Sucks alright but check this out, we got the blessing to go out in style. Which means, we are given the green light to thrash the place if we wish to. Not that any of us will do it... but the head space it gives us will make it one dope event!! Best part of all is we're also free to go as long as we want!

Comparing Solar Wind and the Mayan Sacred Calendar. Hear!

The Mayan Sacred Calendar (the Tzolkin) is said to be a graphic representation of a Logic transmitted by star harmonics that unlock doors of Universal Consciousness and interdimensional reality. If so, it ought to sound something like solar wind, right? Having translated the Tzolkin into sound, we offer you a comparison between that and actual NASA recorded solar wind.

When the Tzolkin's harmonic Logic is sequenced in the sonic register and played back at high speed, it sounds very much like solar wind recorded by the Voyager spacecraft, also played back at high speed. The primary dif being the Tzolkin is composed of only 13 harmonics and the solar wind has them all.

Zinduka (Jonathan and Shai) have been producing together for a few years and their sound has been evolving rapidly over that time. They got rave reviews for their set at the last desert party a few months ago and now they're back with even more fresh new tracks that you will likely be hearing for the first time ever. Their sound is a unique blend of several of the psy genres but can't be easily labelled. Unpredictable, funky, sometimes melodic, deep and intricate. coming from iowa tonight

I came a day early from a conference I am going to in SF to come to this shindig , so will be there hopping along hope to see people I have seen around the country from SF but a bit last minute!

Also, if anyone wants to help a wanderer from the great state of Psyowa find an afterparty or somewhere to crash for a few hours afterward that would be much appreciated (trying to save cash on hotel room by checking in on Thursday morning)! I am a big guy with long hair, will be wearing a shirt by Daya with a psychedelic froggie on it! Happy to regal tales of interesting Iowa events and such like. Sorry for late notice but I am sure if it is meant to be it will happen , if not I am sure I can find some coffee place to hang out or something.

What's up peeples... Hope everyone is doing well! I have a good feeling about our party this wednesday, I think you should all plan to come out and dance for a few hours. Our guest this week is a good friend from Los Angeles. Back for another appearance at Synchronize is Konflux! Vasili has been producing various forms of electronic music for a few years now. He's got a chunky, groovy, playful and precise style... He's really getting his sound dialed in these days and is making some really nice tunes. This week he will be DJing mostly his own stuff with maybe a few other goodies thrown into the mix.. So do come down! This month we are featuring Ghreg on Earth and Audiovoid. We are also switching things up and putting the trance outside and the breaks inside. this group who can work closely with others.

Synchronize 2/27 - B's Bon Voyage Party

While many of you have fond memories of “pre-Thump” era, I came into the scene somewhat later. I discovered psytrance through Thump and instantly became a regular for years-straight thinking it was the only party in SF that offered that kind of music. So being able to play side by side with Thump legends, Dutch and Sentient, is truly an honor and comes full circle in my psychedelic journey thus far. I remember looking out for “Dutch” in the raving days of early 90’s as he was the only one in the scene (that I knew of at least) that played the sickest, acidic tracks. None of this – Psytrance, 604 list, Synchronize, Gil, all you guys – would have happened to me if it weren’t for Dutch
and Sentient.

Brian, B, Sentient, Little B, Little Shit,.. ** SIGH ** Nevermind that B was one of the first guys who hooked me up with music and taught me how to work the decks 4 years ago. Nevermind that Sentient tirelessly threw down all those “booty shakin” tunes for all of us to groove on over so many years. Nevermind mind that he hates Dark Psy and think Gil sucks (shame on you!). Nevermind that B was one of those guys we hoped would show up at the parties for more reason than one (yes, you’re irresistible!) ;) And we all know he can be a little skanky at times (LOL) but nobody can take away the fact that our dear Brian has given so much to the cause – from Thump to Synchronize to “Smiles” – and it saddens me to see that one of our brighter star is about to leave our scene.

So y’all gotta come hang out tonight at Il Pirata and wish our dear friend Brian Bon Voyage Synchro-Style!

…And more thing… I get to play!! I’m gonna thrown down a super-dark set crammed with 160BPM+ machine gun bass-line tunes just because I know Brian loves that shit. Just kidding! Actually, I’ll be dishing out a full-on set (Zul Style of course). It’ll be a mash-up of mostly 2002-04 stuff and a few new tracks to “bring back that lovin’ feeling.” Can’t wait!!!

We wish you all a happy holidays and hope your year has been a great one so far. If you're in town this holiday season and aren't so full of christmas goose that you can't button your pants anymore, please come out to synchronize and party with us one last time in 2007!

Our special guest this week is none other than Dylalien! Dylalien - a mixture of Dylan and Alien, is a sound artist currently living in san francisco, California. Channeling mostly pop music from the planets around the star Alpha Centauri, dylalien often sees music as already existing, in the ether around us, which allows for many of his compositions to write themselves.

He currently explores inner space soundscapes with other psykoNauts Quasar, Alien Mental, Freaks of Nature, Ghreg on Earth, Mubali, and Vector Selector (formerly known as Ocelot), as well as many others...

He currently travels around the world on a yellow submarine with the musical project, the fractal cowboys, where he plays bass guitar.
Dylalien spends his free time with his companion, Sporky,an Artificial Intelligence program thrown in the garbage by the C.I.A. in the 1990's and brought back to life by renegade hacker trancers. For a while Dylalien was convinced he a was teetles, from the yobble planet, and that he was on earth to make noises with other humans which would make crystal pyramids containing information in holographic, akashic form appear, but has placed this project on hold until mid december 2012...

And if that wasn't enough, supporting our guest this week is resident Gatto Matto, starting off the night with some deep progressive and moving it into fullon somewhere in the middle. So come early and stay late! Make excuses or make time, just come down to the party and let your christmas stockings loose...

What's happenin everyone.. Guess what? It's wednesday again, and I think u know what's happening tonight..

We have a special guest for you this week. Our friend Rob-ot (PsyBooty, Oakland) will be joining us tonight! Rob is a multi-faceted and talented local musician with formal training in classical guitar, and he is currently involved a variety of electronic music projects. His best known project, M-Field ( http://www.psybooty.com/pgProfileMfield.aspx ), has received international attention and kudos, and is a great example of the quality of music this guy is capable of creating. Now, many of you may not be aware of this next part, but one of Rob's side projects is producing fullon music with Random (Geomagnetic, SF) and they are just inches away from finishing up an album together! So tonight you can expect to hear a bunch of these fresh new tracks mixed up with some trance du jour..

Supporting our guest this week are residents Gatto Matto and Helios, starting off the night with some deep progressive and moving it into fullon somewhere in the middle. So come early and stay late! Make excuses or make time, just come down to the party tonight and let it all go...

new mix from PARADIGM

Paradigm - 20 cent memory

This is the first mix ive recorded in well over a year. It is suited for that time of morning just as the first rays of sun are begining to break the horrizon. The mix builds from minimal full on, with ever increasing melodies and basslines untill a climatic finish with a gentle let down at the end.
I hope you enjoy this, as this mix is deeply personal for me, as a dear family member passed away while i was recording it. As a result, its a live recording, with no redos, or studio editing. I felt that i wanted to capture that moment, and preserve it just as it was... thus making this mix all the more special and personal....

We're not sure what to expect this time around, she has been known to play from a wide spectrum of the fullon and psy genres, but we're pretty sure to expect hearing some hot, fresh tracks from both upcoming and recognized artists, mixed up in a groovy bangin mind-blender style....

Due to an interesting turn of events, I'll be coming back to the Bay area from September 26th to October 5th... I'm looking forward to visiting all my friends I didn't get to visit when I was here in June. Perhaps if nobody is already requested to play on the 3rd of Oct, maybe y'all have room for a Mubz to give a sneak peak of the new album in my old stomping grounds? If not, it's cool, I'll still see you there. This might be my last visit to the bay area for several months as I will be roaming across the country for a few months before settling down for the winter back in Milwaukee... Congrats for an awesome 4 years of wednesday madness and thursday hangovers, I hope there's at least 4 more years!

Take a moment to relax folks, the party barrage seems to have settled down. Four weeks of great events all in a row, what a great time to be living in San Francisco and enjoying psytrance! We're not sure what the next couple of weeks are going to bring us on the weekends, but one thing that's always nice to look forward to is a good bounce at SYNCHRONIZE, and this week is no exception. Our guest this Wednesday is an old favorite. A founding member of the GoaPlay crew, as well as one of the nicest DJs around, he's brought many smiles to us over the years. We're very happy to have TOBAL back to play for us! The resident Synchronauts for the evening will be HELIOS and GATTO MATTO, rocking out as usual.

Hey everyone. Wow, what a killer weekend at Symbiosis. Definitely the best festival I've ever seen in the USA. It was great to see some of you out there, and it was a bummer not to see the rest of you. But that's what Wednesdays are for at SYNCHRONIZE, so we can relive the weekend and party together all over again! This week we are toked to bring you one of San Francisco's best. He took a break from California to move to the Midwest for a while, but he still represents us over there, and is bringing the SF flavor to his new collective over there, Xcience. We're very happy to have back our good friend, PARADIGM! The resident Synchronauts for the evening will be PSYLOTUS and SENTIENT, kickin up some dust for ya.

Im back in town for a bit, and will be gracing the decks at IL Pirata tommorrow.

A formal post should be in the works, but after the working Symbiosis gave most of us, I think were allowed to be slackers this week.
